Alice Mae Arnold (Poitra) passed away on September 19, 2023. She was born to Stanley G Poitra and Rose Poitra (Herman) on March 7, 1933, in Fort Totten, North Dakota. The family moved to Spokane, Washington when Alice was young.  She graduated from Marycliff High School in 1951 and married Robert Donald Arnold on April 14, 1952 at Our Lady of Lourdes Cathedral.

Alice was a devoted mother and grandmother. She worked as a telephone operator, seamstress, and a caregiver for her grandchildren and the elderly. She also enjoyed gardening, sewing, needlepoint, and bowling.

She is survived by her three daughters, Bonnie Vorlicky (Shawn), Linda Arnold, and Lynette Heck as well as 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Stanley Poitra, sister Irene LeBlanc, husband, and son Michael Arnold. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023, 10:30am at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Spokane, WA. Burial to follow at 2:00 pm at Holy Cross Cemetery, Spokane, WA.
