Anita Dickes, 86, of Spokane, WA, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 28, 2023. She was surrounded by her loving family. Anita is survived by her husband of 67 years, David. The couple raised 5 children. They were able to live in and visit many wonderful places around the world during their lives together.

Anita was a devoted wife and mother with a heart for God and deep love for her family and friends. An accomplished stained glass artist, Anita also occasionally worked as a teacher's aide and church bookkeeper.

Anita was a devout Catholic. Writing about how she was touched by the readings at Mass one Sunday, she wrote, "They seemed to say that no matter what struggles are going on in a person's life it is so important to remember that our Lord will see us through. He is always there. These readings remind me to trust in God and to always be thankful – for the struggles as well as the joys."
