Ann Cronkhite of Spokane Washington passed away peacefully surrounded by family and the caring staff at Holmes Sweet Home in Auburn, Washington on May 31 st 2022. She was born to Peter and Marguerite Bogovich  November 30, 1931 in Seattle, Washington. She was raised in Wilbur, and Grand Coulee Washington. She graduated from Grand Coulee High School where she loved her role as the marching bands Majorette.  Ann attended the University of Washington for 2 years before meeting Jack Cronkhite. Ann and Jack were married and raised six children in Moses Lake and Spokane. Ann made it a goal to finish college one day and despite the needs of a large family managed to graduate from Eastern Washington University. She continued her studies in Interior Design and later went on to pass the rigorous ASID exam to become a recognized member and later the President of Washington state ASID. Ann enjoyed starting her own Interior Design company which she operated in Spokane after her children had grown.

Ann served her community as a volunteer at the House of Charity as well as the Catholic community of Sacred Heart Parish. She organized and maintained her neighborhood community by gathering for monthly potluck dinners. This beloved tradition lasted many years in the South Hill neighborhood where she lived for 50 years. Later in life she enjoyed traveling all over the world. In retirement with her girl posse AKA the "Spice Girls," the gang traveled to many exotic places including Africa, Israel and most of the United States.

Ann is survived by her children, Leslie {Cronkhite} Armstrong and  husband Bob Armstrong. Joni {Cronkhite} Nicholson and  husband Jeff Nicholson. Mark Cronkhite and wife Cynthia Cronkhite. Ron Cronkhite and wife Rebecca Cronkhite. Steve Cronkhite. Ann is preceded in death by her son Barry Cronkhite. Twelve grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
