Audrey was born on August 6, 1937, to Roy and Katherine Fish in Anaconda, Montana.  In 1943, the family moved to Spokane, Washington. Audrey graduated from Rogers High school in 1956.  She married Pete Contabile on September 8, 1956 at St. Aloysius Church. They were married for 58 years and had six children:  Gus (Carolina), Joyce Winters, Peter (Juanita), Dan (Carla), Richard and Kenneth.  Grandchildren include Jeremy, Joshua, Tony, Janine, Mario, Jared, Dacia, Emily, Leslie, Richard, Nick, Kara and Joe. They had 11 great grandchildren.

Audrey worked as a Library Tech for Gonzaga University Law Library and later at Spokane Community College where she retired. Audrey was an avid reader.  She volunteered at St. Patrick's School and Church and with the Sisters of the Holy Names for many years. She played in tennis tournaments with her sister Angela, and when Audrey's children were high school age she would jog 5 miles a night (before running was popular).  She faithfully attended daily Mass at St. Patrick's Church, and in later years she did the same at Mary Queen.  She was a member of the Altar Society at St. Patrick's Church.

Audrey passed away on July 23, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother James, and her husband Pete.  Audrey is survived by her 6 children, her sister Angela Bingle and her brother, Donald Fish and his wife Mary.
