Beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt & friend; Barbara Lee Adams-Hicks, surrounded by loved ones, has gone home to be with the Lord August 4th, 2023. Barbara was born in De Moines, Iowa on November 25th, 1931. She is a graduate of Flathead high school in Kalispell, Montana. Her unconditional love for her family & friends was followed by her great passion for horses & animals. Her artistic talent was revealed in her beautiful paintings. Her faith was evident in all aspects of her life. She is survived by her children; Cynthia Mathias-Iron Cloud, Vickey (Kent) Kramer and Erik (Laura) Davis; stepchildren Jon & Kym Mathias; brother Paul Adams and sister Patricia Peterson; sister-in-laws Marlene Adams and Darlene Adams; grandchildren Seth Iron Cloud, Lizette Iron Cloud-Fasthorse, Mitchelle Iron Cloud, Alexandra (Alex) Bowden, Keyrstin Davis and Olivia Davis; 11 great grandchildren and numerous nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by husband Jim (Houston) Hicks; son Joe Mathias Jr., parents, Edward (Ted) and Laura Adams; sister Shirley Adams-Hamond; brothers Hugh Adams and Erwin Adams; sister-in-law Deedee Adams; brother-in-law Don Peterson and son-in-law David Ray Iron Cloud. Special thanks to the Full Gospel Mission Church of Spokane, the Chattaroy Community Church and Barbara's Chattaroy neighbors and her close friend for all their help and support spanning several years.
