Barbara Helen Johnson, aged 91, of Spokane, peacefully passed away on November 8, 2024. She was born on March 16, 1933, to Alfred and Helen Johnson.

Barbara was a lifelong resident of Spokane, Washington. She attended Holy Names Academy and graduated from Gonzaga University in 1955. It was at Gonzaga, through the serendipity of alphabetical seating, that she met her future husband, Cecil L. Johnson. They were married in 1955 at Saint Aloysius Church and shared a beautiful life together, raising three children.

Predeceased by her beloved husband, Cecil Leroy Johnson, in 2008, Barbara leaves behind her sons, Daniel A. Johnson and Douglas S. Johnson, both of Spokane; four cherished grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Barbara was a talented seamstress and found joy in spending time with Cecil at Lake Pend Oreille. Her life will be celebrated at a service on November 22, 2024, at 10 AM at Saint Peter's Catholic Church.
