Benjamin Peter Gillio, 75, of Spokane, passed away on 6/22/22.  Ben was born on March 28, 1947 to Frank and Marie Gillio in Spokane Washington.  After Ben graduated from Mead High School he pursued a Bachelor's of Science at Washington State University where he met the love of his life, Sandra.  After graduation he served his country for over 20 years in the U.S. Army.   In 1969 Ben and Sandra were married and went on to have 2 children, Matthew & Allyson.  Ben retired from the Army in 1991 as a Lt. Colonel and in 2012 retired from the State of Washington.  Ben was predeceased in death by Frank & Marie and James.  Ben lived life to the fullest and would do anything for anyone and loved unconditionally.  His family was his world and is survived by his wife Sandra, children Matthew & Angel, Allyson & Brent and his granddaughters Anastasia, Cheyanne, Emma, Cassie and Addison.
