Obituary

Beverly Jean Bonner (Walters) went to be with the Lord on May 13, 2024.  She passed away peacefully surrounded by her three children.  She was born on August 10, 1946, in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin to Gordon and Arlene Walters.

Bev moved to Whitefish, Montana with her parents and sisters, Darlene and Carolyn, while in grade school.  Her brothers, Wayne and Mark, were born in Whitefish.

Bev met Mike Bonner and they married May 16, 1964.  Their daughter Jean was born in 1965.  Mike accepted a new job with the railroad and they moved to Spokane, Washington in 1967.  The family eventually settled in Millwood in 1975.  The twins, Joseph and Julie, joined the family in 1978.  Mike passed away in 1979 and after several years Bev went to work for the United States Postal Service as a carrier and clerk.  She was very proud of her 25 years of civil service and her children.

She's preceded in death by her husband Gerry Michael Bonner, daughter Joy, parents Gordon and Arlene Walters, sister Darlene Hamilton, sister Carolyn Huntsinger, and brother Wayne Walters.

She's survived by her daughters, Jean Bonner and Julie Ross (Jason), and her son Joseph Bonner (Corinne).  Also, her beloved grandchildren Jacob and Matthew Ross, Fiona, Joshua, and Peter Bonner.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to St. Jude Research Hospital in her name.
