Obituary

Bradley Charles Corigliano was born on February 3, 1961, in Spokane, Washington to Robert Corigliano and Barbara Anders, and passed away unexpectedly on July 8, 2022. Brad was the oldest of five children and was the best big brother his siblings could have asked for. As a kid, he was often seen running through the neighborhoods of the Perry District with many of his lifelong friends. From a young age, Brad was always funny, quick-witted, and liked to joke around with his family and friends which remained so until the day he passed. You knew he cared deeply about you if you were fortunate enough to garner one of his famous nicknames, which started when he was a young kid and he continued to expand on throughout his adult life. His favorites and most often used were Freddy, Chet, Rose, Cletus, and Gomes.

Brad graduated from Lewis & Clark High School in 1979 where he met the love of his life, Monique. They formed a special bond at a young age and knew they were soulmates. They got married three years later on September 11, 1982, and would have celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary this year. Together, they celebrated so many accomplishments and shared so many unforgettable memories. Four years after getting married they celebrated the birth of their first son, Tony, and two years later Ryan was born. As a young family, they spent many weekends camping, boating, or attending their kids' games. Brad's love for sports, and in particular baseball, was shared and passed down to his two sons. For several years he coached their baseball team, the Bears, where his generosity and compassion were often witnessed when he gave away a nice baseball mitt to a player in need. He was also an avid fan and supporter of WSU Athletics where they held season tickets for nearly 20 years to WSU Cougar Football games. He was unwavering in his support and enthusiasm, even when the team was struggling, he was the only one in the crowd getting everyone excited to yell "GO COUGS!"

Brad joined the Carpenters Union in 1979 after graduating high school where he began a long career that spanned over 43 years with Lydig Construction, Inc. Throughout the years he worked his way up from Apprentice Carpenter to Project General Superintendent. He was often charged with leading some of the company's most complex and fast-tracked projects. His commitment, dedication, and ability to motivate and hold others accountable made him a perfect fit for this role. He had a special way of saying what was exactly on his mind which led to results and exceptional project outcomes. He expected the most out of people and empowered everyone to reach their fullest potential. Some of the notable projects that he was responsible for the building included Mt. Spokane High School (Spokane, WA), University High School (Spokane Valley, WA), Cavelero High School (Lake Stevens, WA), Chiawana High School (Pasco, WA), SGL-BMW Carbon Fiber Manufacturing Facilities (Moses Lake, WA), Gonzaga University Myrtle Woldson Performing Arts Center (Spokane, WA), and the Student Recreation Center for Columbia Basin Community College (Pasco, WA). He will forever be remembered as a legend in the construction industry.

Outside of work, Brad was known as being an excellent cook. He loved cooking his famous Italian meatballs for his family and friends while sharing a good bottle of red wine. Brad also loved spending time on Lake Coeur d'Alene at Sun-Up Bay. You could always find him at the beach, playing in the water and having fun with his grandkids or boating with friends.

The most important part of Brad's life was his family. He was a devoted husband that was genuine and put forth everything he had to give for his loving wife. He was a caring father that instilled a hard-work ethic and love for family. He was a proud and playful papa to his five grandkids. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor, big heart, and warm hugs. Brad had an incredibly outgoing personality so much so that he made a stranger feel like a friend. Brad will never be forgotten for his

contagious laugh that would always light up a room. He wasn't only the life of the party, he was the life of life!

Brad is preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Anders, his sister Becky Corigliano, and step-father, Albert Anders. Brad is survived by his father and step-mother, Robert and Linda Corigliano, his loving wife, Monique, his son Anthony (Stacey) and grandchildren Olivia & Giada, and his son Ryan (Chelsea) and grandchildren Hudson, Riley, and Madison, his siblings Brenda (Larry) Guinn, Barry (Michelle) Corigliano and Brian (Jolie) Corigliano, and his step-siblings George Anders, John Anders, Janet (Brad) Judy, Jackie (Fred) Fritts, Julie (Todd) Crites.
