Candace
Vincent
May 16, 1955 – January 11, 2021
Candace Jean Vincent, 65, passed away peacefully with her husband by her side on January 11, 2021.
She was born May 16, 1955 in Indianapolis, Indiana the daughter of Dr. William J. and Marge (Mackey) Little. Candi graduated from Flathead High School in Kalispell, Montana with the class of 1973. Following high school she attended The University of Montana where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Business Education and met the love of her life, Jerold Vincent.
Their journey together took them from Missoula, MT to Riverton, WY, Evanston, WY, The Woodlands, TX and finally to Newman Lake, WA. Candi made many lifelong friends wherever she lived that will miss her quick wit and sense of humor. Candi loved working with children, especially those with special needs. Kids loved her and she truly loved them back, helping and teaching them. She never met a stranger, unless it was at her sons' multiple wrestling tournaments where she wouldn't be afraid to throw punches if need be.
She loved her family and friends so much. She always made sure others were doing well before worrying about herself and was always there to pick someone up or give a compliment to them when they were down. Everyone knew where she stood on a topic, and she was not afraid to share that with whomever cared to listen. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Marge, and her brother Greg.
Candi is survived by her husband Jerold; three sons Joe (Justine) Vincent of Great Falls, MT, Ryan (Brittney) Vincent of Cody, WY and Shawn (Erica) Vincent of Belgrade, MT; and five grandchildren Brodie Vincent, Zachary Vincent, Emily Vincent, Dane Vincent and Grady Vincent with number six on the way. She is also survived by her brother Jeff (Paula) Little of Kalispell, MT and sister Cheri Heinecke of Tacoma, WA.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your charity of choice, the Galactosemia Foundation or The Arc of Spokane.
