Devereaux, Carol (Nee Sandkamp)

Carol died peacefully on January 12, 2023 at the age of 85. Carol was born and raised in St. Paul Park, Minnesota. In 1968, she met and married Robert Devereaux of Spokane. She worked as a nurse in medical offices and spent 1 year volunteering for Bishop Fergus O'Grady's lay apostolate in northern British Columbia. In the 1980's, she furthered her education and received an associate degree in substance abuse counseling. She had a positive outlook on life, along with a radiant smile and always lots of laughter. Her strongest passion was her spiritual life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Eleanor Sandkamp; her husband Bob; brothers Leo, Bernie and Gene; sisters Marcia, Helen and Norma. Carol is survived by brothers Virg (Joan), John (Pat); sisters Elaine, Mary (Mike), JoAnn (Michael); many nieces, nephews; and close friend Rochelle.
