Caroline Helen
Arnot
June 7, 1932 – February 1, 2026
Caroline Helen (Seipp) Arnot was welcomed to Heaven on February 1, 2026, at the age of 93. She was greeted at the Heavenly Gates by her husband, Arnie (Arnold), and their 7 dachshunds, all named Heidi. Sweet Caroline was born June 7, 1932 in Crosby, ND. Her family moved to the Spokane area in 1935. Caroline was the 13th child of Henry M. & Alice E. Seipp. She was preceded in death by 16 brothers and sisters, and is survived by her sister, Evelyn McAdams, and a tribe of nieces and nephews.
Caroline was a wonderful, devoted Mom to her daughter, Kathleen Jardin, and a dedicated Grandma to Jess and Chelsea Miller, and so enjoyed time spent with Great Grandsons, Jamizen and Zach. Caroline was an enthusiastic Brownie and Girl Scout Leader, and was a fun swimmer, and could cannon ball with the best. Caroline loved going to the Oregon State Fair in Salem with Jess and Chelsea, and visiting all the barnyard animals. Caroline had a very green thumb and gardened until she was 92, with abundant flowers both inside and outside of her home.

Caroline and Arnie lived in Spokane, Anchorage, Salem & Eugene, and Kaiserslautern, Germany, during their working lives together. Arnie worked for IBM (acronym I've Been Moved), and Caroline was a wonderful Mom and supportive Wife, and started her own business, as a Merle Norman Cosmetic Studio Owner and Cosmetician, in Salem, Oregon, after Arnie retired. The last 30 years of their lives, they returned to Spokane and lived in Spokane Valley, to be closer to family members.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 17, 2026, St. Joseph's Chapel (17825 E Trent Ave., Spokane Valley, WA) at 1:00pm.
