Carolyn Young passed peacefully at her home on Monday, January 30, 2023, with her family at her side. Only child of Raymond and Doris Rumburg, born on September 24, 1933. Carolyn was raised in Spokane, WA. Graduated from North Central High School. She met her husband, Patrick at the age of 16 and the couple celebrated 72 years of marriage this past July.

Carol is survived by her husband, her seven children, Patty (Nikolai) Sivertstol, George (Pam) Young, Kathleen Eckley, Sheryl (Steve) Birkett, Marion Young, Susan Young, Michael (Christy) Young, foster daughter, Sheila Camp of Arkansas and over 80 immediate family members including her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Cousins Dr Jim Yturri, (Cari) Rita Yturri, Michele Yturri, (Kelly) Patty and Lee Jackson and many lifelong friends.

She is predeceased by her parents Raymond and Doris Rumburg, grandparents Tom and Teresa Kennedy, her sister in-law, Marion Yturri, Art Yturri, her son and daughter in-law, Daniel and Adeline Young, Granddaughter, Makayla Young.

Carolyn changed lives thru grace and faith in the Lord, her legacy to lead with love and kindness will live on.
