Obituary

Charles "Chuck" Arthur Phillips was summoned from this life by his Lord Jesus on September 22, 2026. He was born December 1, 1956 to Ruth and Arthur Phillips in Spokane and grew up in Mead, WA. Chuck was hard working and a quick learner even as a youngster taking jobs and learning by doing to repair and rebuild things mechanical and otherwise, a skilled "motorhead". He joined the Air Force at 17 and after completion returned home and worked mostly in construction and truck driving although his skills were many and varied. Chuck followed up on his desire to fly and became a skilled pilot. He enjoyed flying his Cessna 172 from Deer Park and Mead Always working on projects, Chuck restored many classic cars and trucks and was quick to lend a hand to others often spending his time in the shop at home or wherever someone could use help and his knowledge. Determined and focused he did not leave his projects unfinished.

Chuck was a true outdoorsman enjoying hunting, fishing, camping, boating, water sports and outdoor activities as well as Harley riding and 4 wheeling . Strong, bold and generous he could operate, build, do or fix just about anything and enjoyed friends and conversation. Chuck was a leader, a brave and good man who delighted heartily in providing for those around him. Chuck is well loved and deeply missed by his family and friends.
