Christopher Michael Winkler, 40, passed away tragically on August 7, 2026. He was born on December 15, 1985, to Molly and William G. Winkler.

Chris was funny, bright, creative, and a dreamer. He was someone who always seemed to have another idea or possibility running through his mind. He had a playful spirit and a natural curiosity about the world around him.

Chris had a creative and curious spirit and found joy in many different interests, including music, sports, gaming, fitness, and cosplay. He was always exploring new ideas and discovering new things that captured his imagination.

Above all, Chris loved being around people. He loved his friends and family and treasured the time he spent with them. His humor, imagination, intelligence, and ability to make people laugh will be remembered by those who knew him.

Chris is survived by his parents, Molly and William G. Winkler; his sister, Brighid Rau, and her husband Andy; his brother, William J. Winkler, and his wife Sarah; and his brother, Billy Ray Winkler. He is also survived by his aunt, Kathleen Scott; his beloved nieces and nephews, Trevor, Haley, Tanner, and Russell; and many other family members and friends who will carry his memory with them.

Chris's life was not always an easy one, but he was so much more than the struggles he faced. He was a son, brother, uncle, and friend who was deeply loved by the people in his life.His passing leaves an enormous emptiness for those who loved him. There are memories that will bring laughter, memories that will bring tears, and countless moments his family and friends wish they could have back.

Chris will be remembered for his big ideas, his sense of humor, his creativity, and the love he had for the people around him.
