Colette Jacobs passed away peacefully Feb. 8, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.  She was preceded in death by parents Gene and Helen Snyder, husband Vern Jacobs, sister Sharon Lillard and great grandson Mason Housam.  Colette is survived by her four daughters Jorie Jacobs, Lin Frederick, Judith Pyle (Tom), and Jeanne-Marie Wilson, as well as seven grandchildren Scott, Eric, Jacob, Michael, Rachel (Tavis), Ryan, Carly, and three great grandchildren Elena, Preston and Isabella.

Born December 9, 1931 in Portland, Oregon Colette was raised in the Catholic faith, attending catholic schools and the University of Oregon before marrying Vern.  The two had a long, happy marriage that lasted more than fifty years.  In addition to being a consummate housewife, Colette worked part time for many years at the Sacred Heart Parish office.  She felt fortunate to consider both Father Skok and Father Bach among her many friends.

After retirement, Vern and Colette looked forward each year to their "snow birding" adventures along the California Coast.  Not one to sit idle, Colette was an active volunteer at Our Place, the Sacred Heart Hospital gift shop, and with the Sacred Heart Service League (past president).

Colette had varied interests and many hobbies to keep her busy.  A quilter, seamstress, social butterfly and doting grandmother, she loved getting together with friends and family and enjoyed planning holiday dinners, birthday parties, lake trips and the like.  She was very proud of her daughters.  She had a keen eye for both fashion and decorating, loved shopping and was never without a credit card or can of paint at the ready!  Her vibrant spirit and generous nature will be missed by all who knew her.
