Obituary

Family and friends are grieving the loss of Corinne Marie (Nilles) Hogan. Corinne passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, after being diagnosed with cancer on November 22, 2022.

At Corinne's request, a funeral service will not be held.  A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor, for family and friends at a later date.  She will be interred alongside her husband, John Walter Hogan at Queen of Peace Cemetery, in Spokane, WA.

Corinne was 83 years old.  She was the third child born to Joseph and Magdalena (Lena) Nilles.  She graduated from Marycliff High School in 1957. She married her husband, John W. Hogan, on January 14, 1961.  Together John and Corinne had three children, Robert, Ann, and Joseph.  Corinne devoted her entire life to her family and they were her most precious gift.  She was an expert seamstress, had a natural skill for gardening and was well-known for her dry sense of humor.  Corinne was one of the strongest people that her children knew.  She was kind, honest, loyal and hard-working.  She was loved deeply. She is irreplaceable.

Corinne is survived by her three children, four grandchildren (Meghan, Madeleine, Nico and Tarik), four great-grandchildren (Jayce, Danae, Issac and Eli), siblings (JoAnn, Ellen, John, Robert and Cheryl) , brothers-in-law (Ed, Sherman and Tom) and sisters-in-law (Barbara, Jean, Melanie, Phyllis and Shelly) as well as many nieces and nephews. Corinne is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Magdalena Nilles, her husband, John Hogan, brothers, Everett and Joseph, brothers-in-law, Greg, Paul, Tom and Verle and sisters-in-law, Eleanor, Mary and Mary Ellen.
