Craigen Timothy
Burns
July 29, 1977 – July 29, 2024
Craigen Timothy Burns suddenly entered into eternal rest on July 29, 2024 at the age of 47. "Craig" was born July 29, 1977 in Spokane, WA where he has lived the past few years after living in Oregon with his wife Michelle and their boys. Craig was a proud graduate of Newport High School (Bellevue, WA) and Eastern Washington University. Most recently he was the International Head of Business Development for Akeyless.
Craig was a gentle soul and was well-known for his quick wit, funny disposition and willingness to always give a smile and help anyone. Craig loved sports as evidenced by his years of playing during his youth. He developed a special passion for football, and spent many a weekend coaching his sons' teams and cheering them on from the sideline, with his 'encouragement' being heard fields away. Many of Craig's previous employees looked up to him for his strong business acumen and ability to connect on a human level. Craig was a beacon of unwavering friendship and kindness and has left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Craig is survived by his wife of 21 years Michelle, (Scellick); and his sons Tadhg (16), Declan (9) and Malachi (3); his parents, Tim and Kathy (Burns); two sisters, Amy (Smith) & Tricia (Hart); his Father in law Michael Scellick (Sharon) and Mother in law Linda Lambe (Frank); numerous brothers and sisters in law; many nieces and nephews; several aunts and uncles; cousins, and many close friends who Craig considered family.
Craig's family would like to share their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of support and memories shared for Craig and our family.
"Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace."
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Craigen Burns Scholarship Fund at STCU for Spokane Falls Recovery Center.
