Obituary

Spokane resident Cynthia Stearns Stufflebeam went to be with the Lord July 9 th , 2022, after a brief and courageous battle with ovarian cancer.  She was 75. She was born in San Bernardino, California, to Robert Stearns and Joyce Branvold.   She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Mark Stearns.  Cindy's greatest joy was raising her five sons:  Michael, Robert, Matthew, Christian and David.   The boys, together with her beloved furry friends, Abby the Beagle and Griz the Cat, spent precious days together with her leading to her passing. Cindy enjoyed living her life in beautiful places such as Portland, Oregon, Encinitas, California, Naples, Italy, Hamilton, Montana, and Redlands, California.  She was a graduate of Portland State University with degrees in Communications and Hebrew Studies.  Cindy loved all things Italian, especially the food, cooking, and wine.  She was active in pro-life causes and Catholic charities.   Cindy was an ardent supporter of Angel Studios – creators of The Chosen series.  She rejoiced at seeing the life of Jesus and his disciples come alive on screen and the work translated into languages around the world giving everyone the opportunity to see God in a modern and relatable way.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent on her behalf to Angel Studios:   https://watch.angelstudios.com/thechosen/pif
