David V. Carlson (age 76) went to be with the Lord October 16, 2023. He is survived by his wife of 31 years Elizabeth "Beth" Carlson; two children, Jeff Carlson (Camilla) and Michelle Carlson of Spokane, WA; five grandchildren, Samantha Carlson, Tierra Hinton, Maddison Carlson, Mason Carlson and Elijah Manargo. The love he had for his grandchildren was extraordinary. He would call every one of them weekly to give them encouragement and to let them know how much of a blessing they were to him.

David was born and raised in Spokane and graduated from Rogers High School in 1965. Right after high school he joined the Air Force and served for three years. As a long time member at both Garland Alliance Church and Shiloh Hills Fellowship he was very devoted to his faith and church family.

David worked at Deaconess Medical Center in the housekeeping department for 32 years. He also carried a paper route when his kids were younger.

Some of David's favorite things were going to Cannon Beach, watching Gonzaga, the Huskies … and only the Huskies, and his caramel macchiato (iced) and decaf from Starbucks.

Memorial Service will be Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 1:00pm at Shiloh Hills Fellowship, 207 E. Lincoln Rd.
