David Campbell Murphy, age 60, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 16, 2025. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.

He was born on October 30, 1964 and was a lifelong resident of Spokane. He graduated from Joel E. Ferris High School in 1983. He worked in the asphalt paving industry for over 30 years. The majority of that time was spent at Inland Asphalt Paving with 28 years of service. He was an avid snow skier and spent many happy days skiing at Schweitzer Mountain Resort in Sandpoint, Idaho. He is survived by his two children, Paige and Nicholas; his parents, Michael and Martha "Muffy" Murphy; and his brothers Steve and Drew Murphy. He is also survived and will be missed by a loving extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins on both the Murphy and Campbell sides of the family as well as many lifelong friends. A private family service will be held followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
