Deanna Rae Hauser, aged 81, passed away March 6,2026 at Multicare Valley Hospital surrounded by family.

Deanna is survived by Joe Hauser, her husband of 40 years.   She is also survived by one brother, Walt and two children, Shella (Steve) Brearley and Scott (Lisa) Kinsey.   She is also survived by two stepdaughters, Tracie (John Stacy) Hauser and Kelly (Dale) Jacobs as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Deanna was born in Wallace,Idaho, on August 28, 1944.   She was a twin born to a family of twelve children.   She graduated from Wallace High School in 1962.   She subsequently went to school and became a beautician working in Wallace for many years.

In 1985, Deanna met her second husband, Joe, after a road race in Sandpoint.  Joe and Deanna married in 1985.  Shortly thereafter, Deanna attended Walla Walla Community College in Clarkston, Washington and graduated as an LPN.    Upon her graduation, she worked at Tri-State Memorial Hospital in Clarkston.   In 1995 Deanna and Joe moved to Liberty Lake where she worked as an LPN at Multicare Valley Hospital until retirement.

Deanna enjoyed running, finishing a marathon and many other races.  She bowled for several years in Wallace, Clarkston, and Spokane.   She was also an avid golfer and enjoyed her time on the links belonging to the women's golf leagues in Liberty Lake.   Later in life, she enjoyed spending time at Northern Quest.   She was a major Gonzaga, Mariners, and Seahawks fan.

Graveside memorial services will be held at noon on Friday, March 20, 2026 at St. Joseph Cemetary, 17825 E Trent in Spokane.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 4521 N Arden Rd, Otis Orchards WA  99027.
