Dennis Winfield Hubbard (77) of Spokane, Washington passed away on June 28th, 2024 after a two year battle with cancer.

Dennis was born on April 12th, 1947 to Guy and Vivian Hubbard in Torrington, Wyoming. After Dennis graduated from Fort Laramie High school in 1965. He went on to study accounting at Eastern Wyoming College.

Dennis met Mary Shaw on July 13, 1968 in Jeffrey City Wyoming.  They married on June 14, 1969. Dennis and Mary went on to have three children Jamie Hubbard Kaiser, Patrick Hubbard, and Teresa Hubbard Presta. Dennis worked at the Uranium mine near Jeffrey City until 1976,  he was then transferred to the mine near Spokane Wa. In 1982, Dennis began working for Spokane City Hall in the maintenance department. Dennis made friends easily, and  was blessed with many friends over the years. Dennis retired from his position as head of maintenance for Spokane City Hall in 2009 and spent his time tending to his yard and beloved vegetable garden, scratching lottery tickets, reading, and spending precious time with his four grandchildren.

Dennis is preceded in death by his parents Guy and Vivian Hubbard, siblings Myrtle Gronewald, Bill Hubbard, Donovan Hubbard, Keith Hubbard, LaQuita Howe, Ardith Brown, Linda Baxter, and Brian Hubbard, brothers in law Dewey Gronewald, Doyle Gobble, Lloyd Howe, and sister in law Joanne Hubbard, and his son Patrick Hubbard. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Hubbard, his daughters Jamie (James) Kaiser and Teresa (Douglas) Presta, his Grandchildren Mikayla (Andrew) Neuman, Abriana Presta, Brenden Kaiser, Emily Kaiser, and his great granddaughter on the way, Vivienne Neuman, his sibling Garner Hubbard, Pete (Linda) Hubbard, Naoma Gobble, Sonia (Walter) Jeffries, Alan (Sandra) Hubbard, brother in law Roland Brown, Frank Baxter, cousins, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Services to be announced at a later date. All that knew Dennis well, know that he loved scratch lottery tickets. The family asks in remembrance of Dennis and his small joys, everyone purchase a scratch off ticket in his honor.
