"On Thursday, December 8, 2022, Eileen T. Swearingen passed away peacefully at the age of 64.

Eileen was born on April 21, 1958, in Spokane, WA to Walter and Marjorie McKee. She lived in Spokane for her entire life.

From an early age Eileen developed a passion for horses. She often enjoyed spending time riding her horse Lady in the Dishman Hills, and later in life had many adventures with her beloved horse Gypsy.

She was kind, gentle and loved nature and animals. She was a nurturing soul and was a loving mother of seven. As a single parent she faced many hardships raising her four young children. She was selfless, often neglecting the needs of herself for the needs of her children.

Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, and is survived by her older brothers: Dave and Jim; her children Brian, Alicia, Darren, Mark, Sol-leks (Holly), Kellie and Grandchildren Ava, Conner, Clara and Kaden.

Arrangements are being handled by Holy Cross Cemetery: 7200 N Wall St, Spokane, WA 99208. A memorial will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery on April 21, 2023.
