Gary Mahr Reymers, 85, of Spokane, Washington, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2025, at his home on North Whitehouse Drive.

Born on June 16, 1939, Gary was the son of Mahr and Grace (Lynch) Reymers. Gary was a proud veteran of the US Army, often referring to it as the best men's club he ever belonged to.

In 1965, Gary married Jeanette M. (Jay) Novatski, and together they raised two children: a son, Carl Reymers, and a daughter, Shanna (Dan) Dunne. Gary was also a proud grandfather to two grandchildren, John Patrick and Thomas Dunne, all residing in Spokane.

Gary enjoyed a fulfilling career as a boilermaker, working in even small ways up until just weeks before his passing.  He is remembered for his passion for technical details and being prepared with every tool for any job.  Gary was the owner of a hydronics heating contracting business, established in 1997, operating from his Spokane address.

Gary was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jeanette, who passed away in May 2020. He is survived by his sister Marnie, brother Michael, children, grandchildren, and a host of friends and extended family who will miss him dearly.

An inurnment will be held at 11:15am on March 28, 2025, at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery, to honor Gary's life and legacy.
