Obituary

Gayle Ann Anderberg (née Cooke) entered the presence of the Lord on March 28th, 2025 (age 81). She was well loved because she loved so well. She is preceded in death by her husband Gary, and her son, Damon. She is survived by her dear husband, Don, and her best friend, Gail, her four loving children and their spouses, ten grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Gayle grew up strong in the Silver Valley of Idaho. She attended St Luke's School of Nursing in Spokane where she met and married her husband, Gary, in 1965.  Gary and Gayle loved travelling the world together.

They raised five children and grew a business in Rosalia and then Cheney, Washington. There was no one better or kinder to care for you when you were sick. Her children's friends felt like they were her own. Gayle loved unconditionally, and in return she was loved by many. She found Joy in spending time with her family and making memories over the years at the lake.

Gayle was a lover of all animals. You could catch her petting dogs, cuddling cats and, on occasion, sneaking a snuggle with a bearded dragon. Gayle loved traveling with friends, dancing, reading, and playing Sudoku.

Gayle loved the Lord Jesus because He first loved her. He carried her through many trials, and she had no fear of death. "My desire is to depart and be with Christ, for that is far better." Philippians 1:23b.
