OUR LOVING GEORGIE

With peace and love in our hearts we announce the passing of our beloved 'Georgie'. Georgiann (Studdart) Hansen (age 69) born on March 10th, 1954 in Cut Bank, MT to George and Mary Studdart. Georgie graduated from High School in Cut Bank followed by Kinman Business University in Spokane, WA. After receiving her business degree she began working at New Hampshire Insurance from 1973-1987. In 1986 she married her dear 'Bobbie' - Bob Hansen - and became an instant stepmom to 5 children. She transitioned employers in 1987 as a customer service rep for Shea Insurance and was joyfully employed until she retired in 2010. Days after her retirement she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Here began her tenacious battle with cancer that ended with her glorious arrival to her eternal resting place on June 27th, 2023. She was strong and courageous with her faith in Christ through all those years as she loved time with Bob's large family and close friends. To all those who had the privilege of knowing Georgiann, they quickly realized her love for people and her undeniable zest for life. She found great purpose in enjoying others, loving her 'Montana' family, attending her grandkids' concerts or sporting events, playing golf, working in her yard, rooting for the 'Zags' and serving those around her.  She loved visiting her nieces and sister on the farm in Montana where snowmobiling, petting the animals and fishing were part of her visits. In later years, they came to visit her for school shopping, exploring Riverfront Park and sharing time together. Those moments will be cherished forever. Georgiann is survived by her five stepchildren and spouses Rob Hansen (Laura), Chris Yost (Mike), Teresa Laher (Doug), Scott Hansen (Heather), Michael Hansen (Katrina). She is also survived by her older sister Patricia Ployhar and nieces and spouses Julean Hanson (Brent), Melanie Ployhar, Mardell Ployhar (Jon Morgan). She was preceded in death by her parents George and Mary Studdart, her husband Bob Hansen, her grandson Josiah (Scott and Heather). Georgieann leaves behind 15 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and several great nieces and nephews. What a glorious family!
