Obituary

On Sunday, May 28, 2023, Gerald (Jerry) Little, loving husband, father, grandfather and great-
grandfather passed away at the age of 83.
Jerry was born to Jim and Loretta Little in Spokane Washington. While growing up in Spokane he
graduated from Gonzaga Prep, attended Gonzaga University, and then started and completed an
apprenticeship as a union steam fitter. After working at Warren Little and Lund as a steam fitter for 17
years he moved into project management and then on to be part owner of the company. In 1987 he
would move away from Spokane to Silverdale, Washington and go to work for Stirrett-Johnsen
Mechanical where he would stay until he retired. Jerry was a member of Local 44 Plumbers and
Pipefitters Union for 64 years.
Jerry loved the outdoors. He hunted waterfowl, was an avid snowmobiler, loved traveling the country
with Marita, enjoyed building and working on his lake cabin at Twin Lakes in Idaho, and most of all
cherished his family. In 1998 he would retire and live there full time until his death.
He is survived by his spouse of nearly 60 years Marita, 3 children; Jim (Carrie) Little, Shelley Little, Rich
(Sara) Little, 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
