Grace Elizabeth Nutter, nee Anderson, born May 17, 1927 in Spokane, WA and passed away after a short bout with cancer on December 18, 2022. She grew up the youngest of 5 siblings and as a family they all struggled through the depression which she always felt made her stronger. She received her nursing degree from Holy Names Academy and devoted most of her life caring for people which in her later years included caring for her older siblings. She married her husband Paul Sr. in 1953 and had two sons Paul and Patrick. He preceded her in death in 1973. She continued her nursing career and received many awards and accolades for her nursing which was a source of pride for her. She loved being around people and animals and made many friends with both. After retiring, she spent much of her time in Rancho Mirage, CA where she helped to organize many "talent shows" that she loved to take part in. Her Catholic faith was also a big part of her life and she rarely missed church before the pandemic hit. She is survived by her two sons and their spouses, four grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews all of whom she adored.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to either the Spokane Humane Society or Partners for Pets.
