Irene De Nieves' Beautiful Spirit left Peacefully from this life into the loving arms of our Lord.
Irene was born in Las Tablas Panama April 5, 1921 to Estefana and Manuel Nunez. Irene grew up in Las Tablas with her siblings and parents until she met the Love of her Life. Ramon says, "the first time I laid eyes on her it was March 1943 in Panama City, she was on the dance floor and she was like Dynamite." They danced the night away and fell in Love. They were married in 1945 and moved to the Panama Canal Zone where they were blessed with three beautiful children; Luz Maria, Ana Elba and Ramon Junior. In 1978 Ramon and Irene decided to move to the United States to Sunny Southern California. They created many happy memories. Irene loved to shop at the mall for clothes, she esteemed looking her best and getting dressed up. She always smelled so good like honey and roses. Ramon and Irene cherished going to the market for fresh vegetables because she loved to cook and cater to family and friends. In 2006 they decided to move to Spokane Washington to be with family. While in Spokane, Irene and Ramon became very fond of going to the Casino and out to eat. One of Irene's fondest rituals was going to church every Sunday to respect and honor God. Irene was such a loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother. Irene birthed three children and from those three children came Fourteen Grandchildren. From those Grandchildren came Thirty-eight Great Grandchildren and then came twenty-nine Great Great Grandchildren and one Great Great Great Grandchild. A true Beautiful Matriarch of an Amazing family.
Irene was Preceded in death by her son Ramon Junior who was most certainly waiting for her at the Heavenly gates. Irene is survived by her husband of 75 years Ramon Nieves, Daughters; Luz Maria, Ana Elba and numerous Grandchildren.
She will be missed dearly. Her memory will never fade in the hearts of her two daughters, eighty-two grandchildren and most importantly the Love of her life; Ramon.
