It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of James Eugene Fischer, who passed away peacefully on July 8th, 2026, at the age of 93.

Born on April 24, 1933, in Hague, North Dakota. Jim lived a life defined by love, kindness, hard work, and devotion to his family. He was a dedicated Postman and took great pride in providing for those he loved. His wisdom, gentle spirit, and unwavering support touched the lives of everyone who knew him.

He found joy in Horse Racing, and treasured time spent with family and friends. Whether sharing stories, offering advice, or simply enjoying life’s quiet moments, he created memories that will be cherished forever.

He is survived by his children Leanna, Angie (Jim), Jim (Lisa), Joan (Steve); his grandchildren & great-grandchildren and many other loving family members and friends including his brother Willie. He was preceded in death by his wife Donna and his siblings Wilfred, Vivienne, Phyllis & Roger.

Jim will be remembered for his strength, generosity, compassion, and the lasting impact he made on all who had the privilege of knowing him. Though he will be deeply missed, his legacy of love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
