Obituary

Jeannie Hill Zappone, 80, passed away on November 8, 2024, in Everett, WA. Born on September 27, 1944, Jeannie dedicated much of her life to public service, notably working for the City of Bellevue from 1983 to 2003.

Jeannie was an active and devout member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, guiding her actions and commitments.

Beyond her professional and spiritual commitments, Jeannie had a vibrant array of interests. She was an avid skier, enjoyed trips to Ocean Shores, held a black belt in karate, and was an enthusiastic supporter of Gonzaga basketball.

Jeannie was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her sons, Doug, Todd, and Tracy; daughters, Gina and Nicole; grandchildren, Sophie, Taylor, Jake, Noah, Trevor, Zackary, Zaron, and Zavier; and great-grandsons, Oaklyn and Elija. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don, and granddaughter, Madison.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 3327 S Perry, Spokane, WA 99203, on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at 11 AM with a reception to follow.
