Jeffrey Bernard
Chatigny
December 5, 1979 – February 14, 2026
Jeffrey Bernard Chatigny, 46, of Spokane, Washington, passed away on February 14, 2026.
Jeff lived a life defined by passion, love, and unwavering dedication to the people he cherished most. He was a hardworking, caring man whose strength and devotion shaped every part of his life. Known for his perfectly delivered dry sense of humor, Jeff had a quiet wit that left a lasting impression on those who knew him.
His greatest joy was his family. He loved his wife and children deeply and worked tirelessly to provide for them, support them, and bring them happiness. His devotion to his family was matched by his devotion to his faith. Jeff loved Jesus wholeheartedly and nurtured a deep and personal relationship with God throughout his life. Prayer was a daily foundation in his home, and he took great care in teaching his children about faith, love, and the teachings of the Bible. He often spoke of how God protected and guided him, and he lived with gratitude for that belief.
Jeff approached life with curiosity and determination. He loved trying new things and was always filled with ideas and aspirations. Professionally, he built a long and respected career in the food and beverage industry, serving in leadership roles and most recently working as a general manager at Altitude. Those who worked alongside him knew him as exceptionally dedicated and tireless in his work.
Jeff is survived by his loving wife, Nichole Chatigny; his beloved children, Landon Chatigny, Ashlyn Chatigny, and Paisleigh Chatigny; his mother, Sandy Chatigny-Johnson and her husband Jerry Johnson; his brother, Steven Murbarger and wife Teresa Murbarger; and his nephew, Jaxon Murbarger. He is also survived by many other loved ones and dear friends who became family.
A funeral Mass will be held Thursday, February 26, with a rosary beginning at 10:30 a.m. followed by Mass at 11:00 a.m. at Assumption of Mary Catholic Church. A reception and graveside service will follow.
Jeff will be remembered for his deep faith, his tireless work ethic, his love for his family, and the quiet strength with which he lived his life.
