Jeremy Ryan
Hueter
March 24, 1976 – March 26, 2026
Jeremy Ryan Hueter, 50, of Spokane, Washington, passed away on March 26, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Spokane on March 24, 1976, Jeremy was a beloved son, husband, and devoted father. Known for his quiet presence and steady, protective heart, he showed his love through consistency, service, and the way he took care of the people around him.
As the oldest of three, Jeremy took on responsibility early. Following his parents’ divorce when he was 11, Jeremy stepped into the role of “statesman” of the family, helping carry the weight of daily life in a way that shaped the grounded, dependable man so many would come to rely on.
He attended Northwood Junior High and Mead High School, where he ran cross country and track. He loved basketball as a kid, more for the joy of playing than for competition. From an early age he was curious and contemplative; as a child he was fascinated with the Book of Revelation and carried a deep sense of wonder about life’s bigger questions.
Jeremy built a life defined by hard work and quiet perseverance. After working as a parts-house driver, he apprenticed as an electrician and later continued providing for his family through various roles. Earning his journeyman license (an exam known for its difficulty) was a proud milestone; Jeremy passed on the first try after pausing to ask for strength.
Jeremy was at his best in the outdoors, grounded in nature, where his spirit felt most at home. Priest Lake held a special place in the family’s story. And though he was never one to seek the spotlight, he had his own legendary sense of humor: when traveling for work, he would sometimes call Angie at 2:00 a.m. to sing karaoke over the phone—proudly off-key, and completely unforgettable.
Jeremy is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Leland Hueter. He is survived by his wife, Angela (“Angie”) Hueter; his children, Ryan and Elizabeth; his mother, Debra Hueter Lynch, and her husband, Robert Lynch; his brother, Chad Hueter; his sister, Chelsea Hueter; and 11 nieces and nephews.
Jeremy’s family is grateful for the many friends and loved ones who supported them, and for the nursing team of relatives and caregivers who cared for him around the clock at the end of his life. May his memory be forever blessed.
