April 4, 1936 – August 13, 2022
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Joanne S. Kennedy born in Plentywood Montana April 4, 1936 to her parents Eli and Clara Shallbetter (both deceased). Joanne passed away on August 13, 2022 peacefully in her sleep at the family home.
Joanne is survived by her husband, Angus "Gus" Kennedy, her children Karen (James) Garman, C. Scott Kennedy, Bryan Kennedy, and Cheryl (Kevin) Gould. Joanne's grandchildren Ryan (Riley) Kennedy, Thomas Garman, Kellen Kennedy, and Eli Gould. One great granddaughter Rowan Kennedy. She is survived by her brother Allen (Sandy) Shallbetter of Pullman, Washington, sister in laws Donna (Mike) Tabit, and Patricia Bathchelder , brother in law Robert (Pam) Kennedy, sister in law Bertie (Larry Deceased) Kennedy ,brother in law Richard Noble (Beulah deceased), sister in law Hilda (Charles deceased) Shallbetter, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Joanne was a graduate of Deer Park High School, and Kinnman Business College. Joanne worked at Browne Trailer, a division of Clark Equipment, until she changed jobs and worked in many financial institutions in downtown Spokane retiring from Wells Fargo Bank in the late 1990s. Joanne loved to take day trips to locations such as Leavenworth, WA. , Thompson Falls, Montana to name a few. Going for drives was a passion for Joanne. She also enjoyed scrap booking memories of her family.
