John W. "Bill" Ostin passed away on March 7, 2025, at the age of 78.  Born in Spokane, Bill was a graduate of North Central High School before serving his country in the U.S. Navy.  Following his service, he dedicated 40 years to the U.S. Postal Service where his friendly nature made a lasting impact on those he worked with and came across in the community.  Bill loved playing golf, singing his favorite songs, and filling the room with laughter through his storytelling and sense of humor.  More than anything, he cherished time with his family and friends, creating countless joyful memories along the way.  He was preceded in death by his parents, John V. and Marie Ostin, and his brother, Gary Ostin.  He is survived by his wife, Claudine Ostin, his children Lori Marotti and Jason Ostin, five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and many loving family members and dear friends. Bill's kindness, humor, and joyful spirit will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
