John Harold Pence

Passed away June 21, 2026, in Spokane Washington. Born in Ashland, Wisconsin.

John was one of nine children born to Harry and Madelene, (Bennie, Aggie, Raymond, Joe, Mary, Pat, Alice and Winne). He grew up as a farm boy and went into the military at a very young age. He traveled the world.

He retired from the Army as a captain. He served several tours and was proud to serve his country. He then went into Postal Service.

In his spare time, he restored antique cars. He won many awards for his cars and was featured in magazines and calendars and in a Hollywood movie. He was a proud member of the Hassie Club.

He was preceded in death by his wife Theresa. He is survived by his daughter, Carmen (Glatt) and grand-daughter, Hayley (Glatt).
