Judith Jean Krebs Girod died April 7, 2024, in Spokane Washington. She was born January 13, 1942, in St. Maries Idaho, to parents Roy Krebs and Eleanor Meikle.

Her parents preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Gary Girod, daughters Susan Girod Scott (Bob) and Amy Girod Zuniga (Jesse), grandchildren Rachel, Matthew, Samuel (Angelie) and Sarah and great grandchildren Milo and Elizabeth. She is also survived by brother John Wilson and niece Crista Wilson Peterman (Matt) and great nephews Owen and Carston of Spokane WA, Cousin Julie Chambers Engan of Clark Fork Idaho, and many other cousins.

Judy attended schools in Spokane, WA.  She married Gary in Spokane in 1960 and moved to Ojai Valley, CA in 1962 where they made their home for 61 years and recently moved back to the inland Northwest. Judy was an active member of the Ojai Valley Community church for over 30 years and the last 10 years attended the Ojai Presbyterian Church.

There will be a celebration of life and memorial service for Judy in Mead, WA in June 2024. In lieu of flowers please donate to a local charity.
