Judith (Judy) Ann (Traweek) Hatfield, age 80, of Spokane, Washington passed away March 27th, 2025.  Born December 28th, 1944, Judy was the eldest of 3 children of John Harry Traweek (1921 - 1995) and Emma Vee Traweek (1923 - 1980).

Judy was raised in Foard County in the town of Crowell, Texas. She was the valedictorian of Crowell High School's class of 1963. Judy met Peter Hatfield while she was a medical technologist at Lebanon Community Hospital in Lebanon, Oregon. They married in 1973 and moved to Italy, Texas where they lived and worked for 2 years. They then moved to Garland, Texas while Peter did his residency at Baylor hospital. In 1979, while driving to get bagels one morning, Judy was involved in a major accident where her car was T-boned and she and her second son, Daniel, were pronounced dead at the scene. Luckily for all involved, both Judy and Dan recovered, but Judy suffered significant back pain for the rest of her life. Soon after the car accident, Peter & Judy moved to Springfield, Oregon where they would open a clinic and live for the next 42 years. In 2021 they moved to Spokane, Washington to be closer to their children and grandchildren.

Judy loved the ocean, loved to travel, and loved spending time with family.

Judy is survived by her husband Peter Hatfield of Spokane, Washington, Robb Hatfield of Spokane Valley, Washington, Dan Hatfield of Thompson Falls, Montana and his wife Jania (Zeeb) Hatfield, and Brady Hatfield of Spokane, Washington and his wife Alisha (Jordan) Hatfield. 7 grandchildren, and siblings Rikk Traweek and Joy Traweek.
