Our lovely Karen Lorraine (Courser) McBride, age 78, from Spokane, WA, passed away
unexpectedly on 12/11/2022 after a two month battle with pancreatic cancer.

Karen was born in Spokane on August 10, 1944 to Richard and Mary Courser. She
graduated from Holy Names Catholic School. Even though family was the most
important part of Karen's life, she always contributed to the home and community
through part-time employment and volunteer work that was meaningful to her. She
raised two kids as a homemaker, enjoyed catering parties, taking care of elderly friends,
volunteering for her church and several other local organizations. She loved to garden,
sew, make cards, bake and cook. She loved her pets, watching the wildlife near their
country home but most of all she cherished her family and friends.

Karen is survived by Paul, husband of 57 years, children Doug (Mary), Loree (Nate),
grandchildren Cody, Paula and Cory, her siblings Kay and Jerry (Joyce), sisters-in-law
Louise (Sandy) and Janice and so many loving family members.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to an
organization of your choice.
