Obituary

Kline passed away peacefully with his family; he was 96. Kline was born in PE-Ell, WA and moved to Spokane as a young boy. He met his wife, Arlyn, of 57 years in Spokane and it was love at first sight. They were married 2 months later. Arlyn passed in 2004 and Kline missed her every minute of every day. Their anniversaries were especially difficult for him and to end a perfect love story, Kline passed away on what would have been their 74 th wedding anniversary. Kline was a proud WW 2 vet. He spent most of his tour in Italy and enjoyed sharing his stories with everyone that had time to listen. He was able to go on the Honor Flight with his daughter Rita which was an incredible memory for them both. Kline loved to travel and wanted to share that love of travel with everyone. When his kids were young, he loaded all 4 kids, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and neighbors into a 9 passenger 57 Plymouth station wagon and off we went on new adventures. His love of travel never ended, and he and his wife Arlyn traveled the world. Their top priority was always visiting their kids, grandkids, great grand kids and great greats that lived throughout the country. In his later years, he would recruit family members to travel with him right up until his final cross country train trip at 95 with his granddaughter Kim to visit all his family one last time.  Kline was very social and had a strong work ethic and never stopped moving. He walked for miles every day and enjoyed meeting people along his way. No one was a stranger to Kline. His walks were not only exercise but adventures exploring and meeting many new friends. He enjoyed gardening, carpentry, and was an avid bowler. Kline was preceded in death by his wife Arlyn, 2 of his daughters and 1 son in law, Betty, (Jim)Hinchliff, Terry Rossman and 1 great grandson Justin Jurek. He has 2 living children his son, Steve Coleman (Chris) & daughter Rita Seivers, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren & great-great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews; all who he loved dearly. Kline was larger than life and touched so many people's hearts in his 96 years. His family would like to thank all the wonderful people that watched over and cared for Kline especially in his later years and all who were a part of Kline's life.  You all had a piece of his heart as well as ours! He will truly be missed!

" Those we Love don't go away; they walk beside us every day ".
