Laura Mae Jones, age 85, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2025, in Spokane, WA.

She was born in Tipton, Kansas to Arnold and Leona Gasper.  She was the second oldest of 5 children and graduated from Marycliff High School.

In 1960 she married Donald K. Jones and together they raised 5 children.  Laura was quick witted, spunky, and a joy to be around.  Most of all she was her family's anchor and deeply devoted to her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Ron Jones, Diane (Mark) Zimmerman, Kevin (Laura) Jones, Mike Jones, and Jerry (Anika) Jones; 14 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, May 9, 2025, at 1pm, in the Mausoleum at Holy Cross Cemetery.
