Obituary

Lindsey Allen Fry (60) was born on April 16, 1963, the son of Robert and Virginia Fry. He was born and raised in Spokane and graduated from North Central High School. After attending Spokane Community College, he became a computer programmer/systems analyst. First working for Fiserv, and going on to work for Spokane Public Schools for 29 years. He married his high school sweetheart, Stacie, and together they raised their two children, Hannah and Drew. He passed away on February 18, 2024 after a four year battle with cancer.

Lindsey's greatest joy was spending time with his family. Whether snow skiing, golfing, camping, or boating on the Pend Oreille River, Lindsey made the most of every moment. He played sports growing up, and into his young adulthood. Through playing, coaching, or cheering his children on, sports were a favorite pastime of his. As a father, Lindsey was present for every event to support his children, and his pride in his family was clear to anyone who knew him.

Lindsey was a kid at heart, which was most evident in his love of sports, collectables, and stories of growing up in Spokane. His love for 80s rock music was something his friends all knew him for. Even through the toughest battle of his life, Lindsey never complained or gave up.

Lindsey is survived by his wife Stacie (Himelspach), his daughter Hannah, and son Andrew. He is also survived by his two brothers, Joe (Sebastian, FL) and Tom (Boise, ID). He was a loving uncle, son-in-law, and brother-in-law. His love and kindness will live on in anyone who knew him.

Lindsey's memorial service will be on March 9 at 11 am at St. Joseph's Parish Colbert 3720 E Colbert Rd. Colbert, WA. Reception to follow. Officiant Thomas Connolly.  If you would like to make a donation on Lindsey's behalf, please do so to Community Cancer Fund.
