Margaret "Maggie"
Finn
August 28, 1942 – October 4, 2025
On October 4th, 2025, Margaret "Maggie" Finn passed away peacefully, surrounded by her children. She has now gone to join her Lord and be reunited with her husband, Dennis Michael Finn, along with her sister, Mary Kay Scott (Duchesne) and her parents, Ruth and Clifford Seaver.
Born on August 28, 1942, Maggie spent her entire life in Spokane, Washington, where she graduated from Marycliff High School. A dedicated mother of five—Kathy Held and husband Steve, Denny Finn and wife Mary, Bob Finn and wife Heidi, John Finn and wife Karina, Darren Finn and wife Suzanne Sa—her life revolved around her family. Known affectionately as "Grandma" or "G Ma," she took great joy in her role as a grandmother to ten grandchildren: Danielle, Erin, Garrett Fredrick, Shaun, Kyle, Cody Finn, Torrey Finn, Cassie Switzer and Lily and Alec Finn, as well as five great-grandchildren.
Maggie's abundant love for her family was matched only by her faith in God. She devoted herself to volunteering throughout the community, always finding joy in helping when needed. One of her happiest pursuits was working in her garden, whether at home or helping neighbors and the church.
Maggie is survived by her brothers, Dan Seaver and wife Wanda, John Seaver and wife Debbie, and Jeff Seaver.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Paschal's Church, located at 2521 N Park Rd, Spokane Valley, on Friday, October 10th, at 10:00 AM, with burial at St. Joseph Cemetery and reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to American Cancer Society in Maggie's honor.
She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
