Margaret Theresa Spangle, 88, passed away on December 28, 2022, at the Spokane Hospice House.  She was born May 31, 1934 to Virgil and Hilda Berto in Spokane, Washington, the youngest of six children.  She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother.  She lived her faith daily showing love, kindness, and compassion to all.  Throughout her life, Margaret remained close to her brothers and sisters and had special bonds with her nieces and nephews.

She married Keith Spangle in 1953. They lived in Spokane with their two children, Kathleen "Kitty" and Gerald "Roddy", until 1971 when they moved to Elk, Washington. In 2000, they moved to Quincy, Washington to be close to Margaret's sisters and their families.  In 2012 they moved back to Spokane. Margaret was a fastidious homemaker and was known for her special baked goodies and her collection of cuckoo clocks.   She also had a talent for playing the organ and crocheting. During her life she enjoyed camping and huckleberry picking with her family and traveling with her husband.

Margaret is survived by her husband of 69 years, Keith Spangle.  She is preceded in death by her siblings, Virgil, Louie, Joe, Mary, and Agnes and her children Kathleen and Gerald.
