Michael James Kerley, Jr.

July 17, 1936 – March 16, 2024

He was the 4th of 7 children born to Michael Kerley and Eda Roman in Spokane, Washington.

Michael attended St. Aloysius grade school, Gonzaga Prep High School and Gonzaga University. He was part of G.U.'s Glee Club. Michael taught Math, Latin and English at several catholic grade schools and several Spokane Valley Schools. He was a life long member of St. Aloysius in Spokane, where he was an altar boy and lector.

Although Mike never married, he was a second father to his nieces and nephews. Many fun and exciting times were had on trips, camp trips and he was always eager to share his knowledge of Montana, fishing and camping.

Michael is survived by his brothers, William Kerley and Stephen Kerley, sister Mary Kerley, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Private services were held at Holy Cross Cemetery, Spokane, WA.
