Obituary

Patrick Thomas "Tom" Warrick passed away in the comfort of his home December 15, 2020, surrounded by the warmth of his loved ones. He was born on December 2nd, 1946, accompanied by his twin sister  Patricia "Terry" Warrick.  He is survived by his children; Matthew and Jackie Zurfluh (Austin), grandson Callum Zurfluh, and was also survived by his siblings Stephanie Carroll, Karen Muzzy, Jenny Wisecarver (Mike), Nick Warrick (Karen), Jim Warrick (Kathy), and Candy Warrick-Slatnick (Jeff).

Dad was known to cause mischief and mayhem around Spokane with his siblings just about everywhere he went. Everyone who knew Tom, also knew he had a gift for seeing the humor in every and all situations. His biggest gift however was making others laugh and feel loved. He met every challenge with a smile, and he was courageous and brave till the end.   Among many of his accomplishments, he was the Past President and held various committee chairmanships for the Washington Collectors Association he served as Past President of the Spokane East Rotary Club from 2008-2010, and was a current member of the Rotary Club of Spokane Valley. Dad was the President of CBS Financial Services and worked alongside his brothers at the family company and took pride in his work there.

By far, his favorite accomplishment was his family. He had a passion for skiing, golfing, woodworking, and spending summer days at the lake. He was an avid hunter, and was often seen out at the casino specifically for the senior night buffet. A man of many stories, some factual, and others not so much, left a lifetime of stories to be shared by those who love him. He lived around the Seattle area in his young adult years but Spokane was always home. He married the love of his life, Lynn, and was married to her for many years before her passing in 2006. With a huge smile, he said he was ready to reunite with her and all of their animals in Heaven. He leaves behind a hole in the hearts of those who love and know him, a hole that only he could fill. A man wildly loved.

Due to the recent pandemic, a "Celebration of Life" will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to The Rotary Club of Greater Spokane Valley, P O Box 14192, Spokane Valley, WA 99214.
