Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Paulette Marie (Sanders) Ragan left us to be with the Lord after a long battle with cancer. Raised in Roseburg, OR, she attended school in Yakima to become an x-ray technician. Soon after, she met her husband of 59 years, Donald. She was and is Don's light, beacon and inspiration. They settled in Spokane where they raised their kids Gayle, Matt (Laura), Chris (Mei), Diane (Matt), Debbie (Brian), and John in a happy and bustling home. She was a member of St. Mary's parish. She made many close friends in the twin club, "Pairs and Spares." Mom loved gardening, sewing and needlework but her pride and joy was her family and her 8 grandchildren. She was a great cook and always loved hosting family gatherings. Mom was continuously thinking of others, lending a hand and pitching in to help wherever and whenever she could. She always carried herself in a calm and loving way and was humble in everything she did. Her vibrant smile left an impression on everyone she met. We could not have asked for a better mom or wife and will miss her tremendously.  A Rosary service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2026, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Spokane Valley, Washington. A funeral Mass will follow at 1:00 p.m. on January 8, 2026, at St. Mary Catholic Church.  Burial will take place at 2:00 p.m. on January 12, 2026, at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
