Rachael Patricia Jackson, 41, passed peacefully January 22nd 2022. She was surrounded by family and loved ones. Rachael was born December 19, 1980 to Teresa Miller and Bruce Jackson. Rachael was raised in Spokane and lived here her entire life. Her striking blue eyes and beautiful smile started winning the hearts of those around her right away. One of her favorite places to visit was her Grandma and Grandpa Miller's house on the Little Spokane River where she spent many summers floating with family and friends and where she later loved taking her own girls to float the river and play for the day. Rachael loved her extended family and their large family gatherings for holidays or other special occasions.  She was always the life of the party with her quick wit and unmatched sense of humor. Her laughter was contagious and filled any room. Rachael loved to entertain and was happiest when she had a house or yard full of people. She loved to plan extravagant parties with creative themes, delicious food and treats everyone would enjoy. It wasn't a party if there wasn't a bouncy castle or waterslide involved. Rachael had a knack for decorating any space and truly enjoyed making every room in her home look and feel warm and inviting.

Rachael was most proud of her daughters: Jessica, Isabella, Emma and Lola. She loved them deeply and fiercely and would often talk about how smart, talented, and funny they are and the strong, brilliant, women they are becoming.  She was an amazing daughter, mother and friend who was a very bright light in many lives, and she will be deeply missed. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Lawrence Jackson, maternal grandparents Pat and Bob Miller, and her mother Teresa Miller. She is survived by her paternal grandmother Agnes Jackson, father Bruce Jackson, sister Megan Welch, daughters Jessica Leonard, Isabella Leonard, Emma Leonard and Lola Leonard, her fiancé Austin Arthur, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
