Regina
Seidl
June 11, 1948 – January 3, 2022
Regina, beloved wife of Frank, came into this world on June 11, 1948, in Seattle, WA and was the eldest of 5 children born to Ben and Flora (Tania) Consego. She was raised in the Beacon Hill area of Seattle and was very proud of her Filipino and Native American heritage. Gina, as she liked to be called, attended Holy Names High School of Seattle and was very active with her family in the Filipino Youth Association during her formative years. She also attended Holy Names University in Oakland, CA, where she met Frank, the Love of Her Life, at her first college dance. She received her BS degree in Bio-Chemistry in 1970 and married Frank 2 weeks later. The two of them moved to Northern CA so Gina could do her residency in Medical Technology. She finished her residency, passed her board exams, and worked in the Medical Field for over 25 years, taking a couple years off to get a degree in Interior Design from UCLA. She fiercely battled Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer for nearly 64 months and left this life while wrapped in the arms of her husband of 51⅟2 years on January 3, 2022. Gina and Frank are the proud parents of Natasha Garbareno (Nick) of Monroe, WA, and Sonja Seidl of Denver, CO. In addition to Frank and her two children, Gina is survived by her sisters, Dulcinda Salatich of Denver; Debra Murray of Yorba Linda, CA; Rochelle Bautista (Rich) of Pacific Palisades, CA; her brother, Ron Consego (Lynette) of Seattle and her two Grandchildren, Maxwell and Mila Garbareno of Monroe, WA, both of whom she unabashedly adored. In her own words before passing, she said that she had had a wonderful life, lived to the fullest, traveling the world, eating and drinking in the finest restaurants, making true friends around the world beside the man she loved and raising their beautiful daughters together. She had no regrets other than not being able to see her grandchildren grow up together with Frank. The world is certainly a sadder place without her – and that wonderful, loving smile.
